[dropcap2]N[/dropcap2]udestix is a brand I wanted to test ever since I first found out about them. It took a while but I finally got the chance and I thought the #Babeboss Faves Box was the perfect introduction. This limited edition box includes a mix of 6 lip and lip & cheek pencils in different formulas from the Nudestix range. Each pencil was handpicked by a different influencer.
I usually stay away from limited editions, unless I can get my hands on them as soon they come out. No one wants a review on an unavailable product, right? (#bloggerproblems)
Although the box is pretty much sold out, all the shades included are from the standard range. So I thought to make an exception to my own rule. Plus, the retail value of each item is so much more than what the set was. I just couldn’t pass it up!
What did I think of the product?
All of the lipsticks are really comfortable, with the two Magnetic Mattes (Boho and Burgundy) being the heavier more intense matte. They are drier than the other formulas and I find they accentuate lip wrinkles. Which is probably why it’s the only formula not targeted for cheeks as well. With that being said they still are a lot more comfortable than most matte lipsticks. The Intense Mattes (Stiletto and Purity) are creamier and smoother and pretty much weightless on the lips, just like the sheer Lip + Cheek pencil (Sin) and Gel Color (Pulse). I’m so happy with the staying power on these, especially the sheer ones, not only on the lips but as blush as well, which I didn’t even think I was going to use them as.
This was such a good first taste of the brand for me. I’m really interested in trying more products! Especially the face ones since I’m really into creams a no-makeup-makeup at the moment.
