Nabla is a brand that has really grown on me, and by the looks of it, the rest of the world as well. They are becoming more and more popular outside of Italy. They have been picked up by Ulta in the US, which is such a huge deal. I think I own every palette they ever came out with, and when they announced the new palettes in the Nabla Cutie Palette lineup, I didn’t even have to see them to know I wanted them.
A bit of introduction if you’re not familiar with the brand and their products. They started with single eyeshadows (which are amazing). Then they started releasing 12/15 pan palettes. Then, last summer they introduced a new format: the Nabla Cutie Palette. They are “smaller” 6 pan palettes. The pan size is actually bigger than any standard palette. These palettes are collectables and each one as a specific theme. Which is why each has the series number on the cover along with two icons representing the theme.
Now they’re expanding the line with 3 new palettes.
#3 PLATINUM

The Platinum Cutie Palette is inspired by metals, the platinum palettes is a cool tones palette with 4 gorgeous shimmers and 2 mattes:

Tenebra – Super matte | graphite/taupe
Gem System – Super sparkle | gun metal-khaki
Rich Darling – Fluid metal | taupe with a hint of pink
Priceless – Fluid metal | antique brass
Luxuriance – Metal foil | silver
Aristocracy – Super matte | dark walnut
#4 METROPOLITAN

The Metropolitan Cutie Palette is inspired by modern cities where glam and art meet, again with 2 mattes and 4 shimmers

Lord – Super matte | Dark sandalwood
Alaska – Metal foil | Trichrome top coat with lilac, pink and aqua reflects on a translucent base
Nothing Personal – Super matte | Coral fluo
Love Resin – Fluid metal | Strawberry bronze with gold micro sparkles
Anomalia – Metal foil | 24K gold
Dissolution Super sparkle | Warm medium nude with platinum sparkles
#5 WILD BERRY

The Wild Berry Cutie Palette is obviously inspired by berries, includes 2 shimmers 3 mattes and one Latex Matte, which is a very unique formula that I absolutely adore, introduced in the first Cutie palette. It’s a multidimensional matte that has some sheen to it and doesn’t look completely flat, unlike the other matte shades.

Incense – Latex matte | medium apricot beige
Venom – Super matte | intense berry
Bucolic Baby – Metal foil | medium peach with strawberry reflects
Alchemy 2.0 – Metal foil | flamingo and teal duochrome
Blackberry – Super matte | intense blackberry
Botanic Juice – Super matte | raspberry
Every shade in these palettes is fantastic. The mattes are always super pigmented while really easy to blend and the shimmers, especially the foiled formulas are super reflective and all glide like butter. This is not a surprise for me as the brand never disappoints with eyeshadows.
