Another day, and yet another haul. This season, there have been so many new releases, that it’s been really tough for me to resist. Now, this haul is pretty small, but being Sephora the prices added up rather quickly.
For as long as I’ve been into makeup all I kept hearing was how Benefit’s Hoola is the perfect bronzer. For the past few weeks, the newly released Hoola Lite (for fairer skin) and the GALifornia blush is all I could see on blogs and social media. Needless to say, I really wanted to try all these products, but each retails for 36€ and I couldn’t make the commitment. That was until Benefit decided to include them in the newest Cheek Parade, the Beauty and the Beat Blush kit. This palette includes 5 full-size blushes at the ridiculous price of 59€. The two bronzers inside are Hoola and Hoola Lite, while the blushes are GALifornia, Dandelion and Rockateur. If I were to buy the products separately I would spend 180€, so this palette is a deal, to say the least.

The main reason for this haul is the long awaited launch of Kat Von D Beauty at (Italian) Sephora. I’ve been admiring Kat long before she even had a beauty line. Imagine my happiness when she launched her first products. And imagine my sadness when I realised that they were not available in my country. Well, after years and years the wait is finally over, and I’ll finally get to try out her products at last.
I went back and forth, looking up swatches of the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick and the Studded Kiss Lipsticks. But in the end, I found myself scrapping lipsticks all together. That’s because the ones I was into the most look completely different on every person, so I’d prefer to wait to see them in person in stores.
In the end, I chose the two products that I think are the most loved within the brand: the Tattoo Liner in the shade Trooper and the Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette. For some reason, I hate spending money on ‘basic’ things. Maybe because I feel like I can find those products anywhere and I always go for the more particular stuff. For example: if the Pastel Goth Palette was available, I would totally have bought that instead. I mean, every brand has a neutral eyeshadow palette, right? But then I always find myself missing those quality go-to everyday products. I’ve heard so many good reviews on both the liner and the palette, I have no doubt these are just what my collection needed!
