I might be the only one, but I need background noise for everything I do. Whatever I might be doing I always have some sort of music, TV show or movie playing. Even if I’m not entirely paying attention to it.
But when it comes to reading, I find those things very distracting. At the same time, though, I lose concentration just as easily when there’s complete silence. If I play music with lyrics I always end up singing. I tried so many instrumental Reading playlists on Spotify, but I always find the music so slow and calming that, combined with reading and a comfy seat, it actually makes me fall asleep. I’ve never been this picky about music before. So, after ages of searching, I took matters into my own hands and decided to put something together myself. Since I had such a hard time finding what I liked, thought I should share.
