New York City Makeup Shopping List

As I write this I’m less than a few hours away from boarding a flight to New York. This trip has this been my dream since I was young. As I grew into a makeup addicted blogger this has been an even bigger dream, because I see America as the land of makeup. Even if there are more and more options for us Europeans, there’s still a lot that doesn’t make it across the pond. It’s my goal this week to get as much of what’s unavailable to me as much as I can. Here’s every product that I’m planning to get my hands on.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick

I’ve heard so many good things about this brand for so long. I love lipsticks a lot but every time I wear one I wonder how much the ingredients are going to affect my body, because, let’s face it, we’re eating most of it. Their products are all made with food grade ingredients, which would make me a lot more comfortable on a day to day basis. I was hopeful I could even be able to make my custom lipstick in their lab, but that looks too expensive for me at the moment.

Pretty Vulgar Make Them Blush Blush

When it was announced that this brand would be sold in Sephora I was really intrigued. Just by the name and the packaging I was sold. Now that I’ve seen people testing the products I’m confident I’ll get my money’s worth in this product, although I can’t wait to review it myself.

Kat Von D Lolita Blush

Although I do get Kat Von D in Italian Sephora now, I’m not sure this product is going to make it. It’s a limited edition and it already sold out online, so I’m hopeful that I can find it in store. It’s a great collection piece, and I’m just in love with the shade.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

I don’t think I need to explain why I’d want this product because it’s the most hyped in years. I just gotta see what the fuss is about.

L’Oréal Pro Glow

Even though I get L’Oréal where I live, most of their products and shades never make it here. For some reason they only release their matte foundations on European soil, apparently, they think we can only be oily. Which upsets me because this foundation seems to be made for me.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation

Another very hyped and very cheap foundation that I’m really intrigued to try. There are some days when no matter how many foundations I try to use nothing seems to work. I’m hopeful this will be the one I can count on those days. I can get this online but my shade is always sold out, but I’ll be able to get it once I run out and the hype dies down a little bit.

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow

I’ve never been high on glitter but recently it’s all I can think about. But I’m not sure I ready for the commitment. I mean once you open the glitter pot you can never go back. I really want to try these first, since they look so good and especially practical.
