Espressoh SWEETandSOUR palette review

I haven’t really talked in depth about Espressoh, and I promise I will soon, but here’s a brief overview. Epressoh is an Italian brand. Their makeup is simple, they believe in makeup to accentuate natural beauty, not cover it. Just look at their Instagram page, you can clearly see: not overly edited pictures, real people and a whole lot of love for makeup. They made makeup fun for me, and hopefully, they will for you too.

My thoughts on the Espressoh SWEETandSOUR palette

This palette embodies their message: makeup is fun, easy and for everybody. There are four shades: one shimmery and three with a satin finish. I love that the shades, they tend to neutrals and wearable but they’re still fun and unique. I am obsessed with this formula: it’s creamy at the touch but turns powdery as you work with it. It’s so easy to work with, it’s one of the few eyeshadows I can blend easily just using fingers but can be used with brushes too. I have seen people with many different skin tones wear all shades and they all look great on everybody. And not only that, they work great as blushes (or highlight for the shimmer one) and on the lips. The brand says this doesn’t crease, now. I always, always experience creasing, especially when I don’t prime my eyelids first, and this is no different.

I would highly recommend this palette to anyone, but especially to a beginner. The versatility and ease make it perfect for someone that doesn’t have a huge collection and just wants to play and experiment for makeup.

This palette just inspires me. It’s a staple in my collection, if I want a wash of colour all over the lid, to mix and match with other shades in this palette or in my whole collection, to use as a base. I have a lot of fun every time I open it and that hasn’t happened in a while.
